Happy Halloween! Yesterday, CFHLA hosted our annual Halloween Golf Open at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations – Orange Lake Resort (Thank You, Jorge Reyes, Regional Vice President – Resort Operations).

Seminole County Gets Updates from
Orlando Sanford International Airport

The Seminole County General Managers also held their final meeting of the year this week at the Westin Lake Mary, Orlando North (Thank You Kayla Padgett, Assistant General Manager).
This meeting featured an update from Stephen Fussell, Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer from the Orlando Sanford International Airport.

Last week, CFHLA was honored to sponsor the Fall UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management Career Fair. This semester’s theme was Mission: Career and it is the first time students and alumni in attendance, connected with employer’s offering out-of-this-world career opportunities at The Venue on UCF’s main campus. A huge thank you to all the students who organized this semester’s Career Fair, the CFHLA members who participated and sponsored, and everyone, including CFHLA Hospitality Scholarship recipients, who were in attendance!

CFHLA thanks the Marriott Orlando East/UCF Area for their continued dedication to the CFHLA Adopt-A-School program and partnership with Camelot Elementary School.

As part of their Q3 activity, the teams from the Courtyard, Residence Inn, and TownePlace Suites collaborated to host a Back-to-School supply drive, collecting and delivering much-needed items to help students start the year strong.
