Freedom Middle School Celebrates the
Launch of a New Hospitality Program
|
As we kick off the 2026-2027 school year, Freedom Middle School is celebrating the launch of its new Hospitality and Tourism program, providing students with hands-on opportunities to explore the many career paths available within Central Florida’s thriving hospitality industry.
Led by Hospitality & Tourism Teacher Jill Kreppein, a UCF Rosen College alumna with more than a decade of experience across multiple sectors of the industry, the program was created to help students discover their strengths while connecting classroom learning to real-world career opportunities. With 190 students currently enrolled and new students eager to join, the program is already making a strong impact. Students are learning foundational hospitality skills, from answering the phone with service-forward scripts and practicing professional greetings to developing an understanding of guest service and industry operations.
On behalf of CFHLA, we congratulate Freedom Middle School on this exciting new program and look forward to seeing the next generation of hospitality professionals grow and discover the endless opportunities available right here in Central Florida!
