Visit Orlando announces record-breaking Magical Dining numbers
|
This week, our partner Visit Orlando announced a record-breaking donation of $398,307 through the 2025 Visit Orlando Magical Dining program, presented by Orlando Health! This donation reflects a 13% increase over 2024!
This year, Magical Dining featured a number of our lodging properties and highlighted the continued growth of Central Florida’s vibrant culinary scene, encouraging locals to explore new dining experiences. Since 2009, Magical Dining has raised over $3.3 million for local charities, and this year’s primary beneficiary, REED Charitable Foundation, is focused on ending the literacy crisis by ensuring all children have access to reading instruction based on how the brain learns to read - through educator training that’s both affordable and accessible. Visit Orlando also donated to various charities in each district of Orange County to further the impact of the funds raised.
Thank you again to Visit Orlando and their team for its continued commitment to generously giving back to our Central Florida community throughout the year!

Gateway Village Read to Students During Teach-In
|
CFHLA proudly recognizes Hyatt House Orlando Airport and Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando Airport at Gateway Village for their outstanding Teach-In activities with their Adopt-A-School partners, Cheney Elementary and Little River Elementary. Team members visited the classrooms to read Amelia Bedelia Bakes Off and speak with the students about the many roles within a hotel, including the importance of chefs and the value of starting each day with a healthy breakfast. Every student received a copy of the book to take home, extending the learning experience beyond the classroom. Thank you to both hotel teams for your enthusiasm, creativity, and continued commitment to inspiring young learners in our community.
